What’s the cost of a haircut nowadays for teachers? Only a challenging bet to your students to see which class can donate the most money for the Channel One Food Drive.

The lucky winners were the eighth graders, who gladly took the electric razor to their teacher’s hair and shaved away!

Math teacher and Student Council Advisor Wes Kimball captured the new look on Facebook Live and watched closely as his hair was in the hands of his students.

A pep rally was held Wednesday to announce the winners of the food drive, announce the trap team’s fall league season and to send off the football team with good wishes.

The trap team finished 310 points ahead of the second place team for the fall season. The fall season was competitive and a good way for students to practice skills.

The school raised a total of 8,766 pounds for the Channel One Food Drive.

Class winners were first graders in third place for elementary, third graders in second place and sixth graders in first place. In the high school, eighth graders took third place, seniors took second and seventh graders took first.
