Marlene Ruth Fishbaugher, age 87, of Harmony, died peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at the Gundersen Harmony Care Center.

Marlene was an active member of the Root River Church of the Brethren, serving as a Sunday school teacher, board member, and as a Deacon. Marlene was an asset to the community with the volunteer work she did at the nursing home, Historical Center and Meals on Wheels. Through Amish tours, she made a lot of friends among the Amish community.

The family wishes to thank the special staff at Gundersen Harmony Care Center and Heartland Hospice for the genuinely warm and loving care they extended to Marlene and her family. They truly made it a home away from home.
