The Kingsland volleyball team had a busy week in which the Knights are still trying to find their early-season stride.
The Knights opened the week with a 3-1 win (25-16, 20-25, 29-27, 25-22) at Lyle/Pacelli. The team didn’t fare well in their home opener the next night, falling to Grand Meadow 3-0 (25-25, 23-25, 11-25). The team wrapped up a busy week at the Mabel-Canton Labor Day Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 1, playing five two-set matches, winning two, and claiming a victory over Lanesboro in the fifth-place game. The Knights are 4-6 overall (2-1 SEC).
