Age Well at Home seeking volunteers

The Age Well at Home Program is a service of Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota and desperately needs area individuals, groups and organizations to volunteer their time. Volunteers help the program meet its mission of providing support services to Chatfield residents, 65 and older, to safely sustain their independence in their own home.

Specifically, the Age Well at Home Program seeks volunteers to help support transportation in town and to Rochester, chore services and light housekeeping.

Support opportunities and hours are flexible so individuals can volunteer as much as their schedule allows.

Anyone interested in volunteering, please call Tina Kerns at 507-251-0520.

The Seasoned Senior Potluck will be held on Friday, June 28, in the senior room at the Thurber Building in Chatfield. The potluck starts at 11:30 a.m. and the speaker will speak at 12:30 p.m. This month’s speaker is Eric Luoma from Karst Brewery in Fountain. Bring a dish to pass, the rest is all provided.
