The Mabel-Canton trap team shot well as 12 shooters finished over the 40 mark in week two of the regular season.

Jack Arneson finished the week with a team-best score of 48 out of 50. Austin Snell and Dawson Wangen each hit 47 birds.

Colton Heintz-Kuderer and Emma Middendorf each scored a 46. Dawson Kleiboer added a 45. Robert Michels hit 43 targets. Saijal Slafter, Tracer Tollefsrud and Brady Yoder all scored a 42. Tanner Marquardt hit 41 targets, and Maddy Michels had a 39.

The Clay Target League website was down at press time, so conference and individual standings were not available.

There are nine classes, 1A through 9A, based on the number of registered shooters rather than school enrollment.

Mabel-Canton is among 49 schools in the next-to-smallest registration Class 2A, which is divided into seven conferences.
