Fan Appreciation Night set at Kingsland game Feb. 11

The Kingsland Athletic Booster Club will be holding a Fan Appreciation Night during the Monday, Feb. 11, boys basketball game at home against Fillmore Central.

In addition to the action on the floor, Kingsland youth basketball players will be entertaining fans during halftimes of the junior varsity and varsity games. The fifth grade girls will play at the junior varsity halftime and the sixth grade boys will play at the varsity halftime.

The family night out will also include these extras:

• Students get in free with a paid adult entry.

• Fans wearing Knights clothing will get a free bag of popcorn.

• All KABC paid members will be entered into a drawing for a Kingsland gift basket.

• The Knight mascot will throw out goodies to the fans.

• All fans, youth and adults, will be invited to the floor with retired teacher Marilyn Erdman to sing the school song.

The varsity game begins at 7:30 p.m. following the junior varsity game on Feb. 11 at Kingsland High School. The entrance is on the southwest side of the building.
