Senior Alex Folz is one of 22 players on the Class A All-State Baseball Team (Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association).

Folz and junior teammate Carter Bratland have been named for a third straight season to the All-Southeast Conference Baseball Team, joined in 2019 by junior Chandler Bergrud.

All three were also named All-Section 1A - Folz for the fourth time and Bratland for the third season.

Senior Nic Peterson received Honorable Mention All-SEC.

Folz is also Academic All-State -an exclusive distinction reserved for senior athletes who have at least a 3.5 GPA cumulative over their four years of high school. He is one of only 19 Class A players to merit this accolade in the classroom as well as on the playing field.

Five of the 13-member All-SEC First Team are repeat selections, including a pair of four-year honorees. Spring Grove players have only been eligible for consideration for the past three years with Folz and Bratland being included all three times. This is the third season for Peterson to receive postseason acclaim, having previously been All-SEC and twice All-Section.

Third-place Spring Grove and conference champion GMLOK led with three All-SEC First Team selections each with two apiece for fourth-place Lyle/Pacelli and runner-up Randolph.

L/P and Spring Grove are the only two SEC teams with two First Team players with eligibility remaining for 2020 (Bergrud, Bratland),
