Grace Miner, 92, mother of Harmony man

She was born on Sept. 15, 1926, to Henry and Anna (Tammen) Konken in Brownsdale. On Feb. 1, 1948, she married Morris "Mike" Miner.

She had the joy of staying at home to raise her family, but also spent a lot of her time volunteering at Winona Health. She was also a member of the Dorcas Circle and a proud member of the Winona Lions Club.

She and her husband loved dancing together. Some of her favorite times were spent playing piano and guitar in their family band. She also enjoyed playing the harmonica. Her faith was very important to her, and she was a member of Central Lutheran Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, reminiscing of the many things they all did together.
