The Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston gymnasts closed out their home schedule on Feb. 1 with their second best team score thus far - 107.72. Visiting Kasson-Mantorville/Triton was even better at 122.85.

Speaking of the final home performance, coach Jackie Johnson said, "We honored our Seniors Kourtney Olson and Becky Meyer. Both have been outstanding gymnast seventh through 12th grade, and I could not be happier to be back coaching them their senior year, as I started coaching them both when they entered the gym in seventh grade. "Overall, varsity and JV had (a) great meet, considering we have not been in the gym for practice in seven days."

Seventh grader Braelyn Lange was third in the all-around scoring (29.65) after placing fourth on both beam and parallel bars in addition to fifth place finishes on vault (8.05) and in floor exercise.

Freshman Brianna Johnson was fifth all-around (27.6) after fourth places on vault (8.1) and on the floor (7.95). That vault score was a team-high in an individual event.

Eight different Warriors competed for the varsity with Lange, Johnson and eighth grader Ayshia Gay qualifying for all-around scores.
