The Lanesboro High School trap team continues its amazing ascent in the conference standings, this week in second place. Individually, Lauren Zoellner has the best season average (22.13) among all the girls in Conference 2A-1 and is surpassed only by four boys overall. Burro teammate Zachary Torgerson is one of those boys whose average of 22.75 is the second best after four weeks of competition.

In four-weeks, the team went from sixth place up to fifth before jumping two spots into third and now ranks second.

"We battled the wind…and posted some good scores," said coach Dustin Flattum of the week four performance. "All my shooters have been showing constant improvement, and our team score has reflected that…it is setting up to be a competitive end to the season."

For the second straight week, the Burros have had the second best team score in the league, this week with a 1,158, the second best team score of the season.
