June Gordon, 93, of Lanesboro

June Irene Gordon, 93, of Lanesboro, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis.

She was born Feb. 15, 1917, in Blue Earth, Minn., to John and Emma (Munson) Krull.

She and John A. Gordon were married July 11, 1935. They lived in Spring Valley until moving to a farm north of St. Charles in 1971. Mr. Gordon died in 1982.

Mrs. Gordon later moved to Rochester, where she cleaned homes for Mayo Clinic doctors. She later moved to Lanesboro.

Survivors include her six children, Lois Ask of Mabel, Jim (Marlys) Gordon of Harmony, Janet Pitzer of Menomonie, Wis., Richard Gordon of Mabel, Penny (Harlan) Wilson of Lewiston and Stanley (Carol) Gordon of Wabasha; 25 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; a brother and sister, Harold Krull and Ruth Krull, both of Faribault; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, John Wayne Gordon.

Funeral services were held last Tuesday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles, with the Rev. Jean Claude Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles.
