Kingsland boys remain undefeated in golf

Kingsland’s boys remained undefeated in golf after three dual meets and one tournament last week.

The girls have also been shooting well, but don’t have enough members to compete as a team.

Monday, the Kingsland golfers traveled to Cedar River in Adams to play Grand Meadow/LeRoy-Ostrander. The Knights won 193-210 as Wyatt Pruter shot a 44, Nick Wernimont 48, Nathan Lund 50, Gregg Hubka 51, Gavin Merkel 56 and Isaac Simon 69. There was no girls’ competition as GMLO didn’t have a team.

The girls’ side was won by Caledonia, which shot 384. Kingsland individuals were Moore’s 113 and Welch’s 122.  Moore finished 13th overall individual and Welch finished 21st.
