The Lanesboro High School trap shooters showed marked improvement when the airborne clay targets were no longer sharing the sky with snowflakes. The Burros were 197 birds better (1,030) in the second week of conference competition than they were in the first week (833). In Conference 2A-1, LHS moved up to fifth place only 19 points out of fourth.

Lauren Zoellner and Logan Jensson shared individual honors last week, each connecting with 46 out 50 clay critters. Zachary Torgerson was only one bird back at 45.

Holdyn Willford hit 41 birds while Alex Reimann and William Asleson each scored 40.

There were 22 Lanesboro marksmen in action, including Jacob Peterson with a 39, followed by Logan Torgerson 37, Trevor Ruen 36, Caden Johnson 36, Jordan Peterson 35, Ben Snyder 34, Dayton Haugen 33, Joey Bradley 32 and Michael Rein 30.
