Spring Grove Township is seeking bids from qualified private contractors for maintenance of approximately 32 miles of township roads. 

Bid forms can be obtained from the township clerk by calling 507-450-4638.

Bids will be reviewed at the June 5 monthly board meeting and be accepted until 8:05 p.m.

The township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or further negotiate with a contractor.

Work will begin on or about July 1, 2019.

The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District #297 was called to order at 6:03 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 in the Math Learning Center.

Motion by Christian Myrah, seconded by Brad Hernandez and carried unanimously to approve the minutes of the Regular School Board Meeting held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center.

The 2017-2018 fiscal year audit was presented by CliftonLarsonAllen.

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Brad Hernandez and carried unanimously to approve the 2018 Payable 2019 Levy Limitation and Certification at $632,037.31.

PERSONNEL

Motion by Christian Myrah, seconded by Brad Hernandez and carried unanimously to approve the 2018-19 Seniority List as presented. 

Motion by Christian Myrah, seconded by Stephanie Jaster and carried unanimously to approve the resignation of Rick Sundet effective immediately. 

Motion by Brad Hernandez, seconded by Stephanie Jaster and carried unanimously to approve Rachel Storlie as Long Term Substitute Teacher for vocal music.

Motion by Christian Myrah, seconded by Brad Hernandez and carried unanimously to approve the contract for Mark Potvin as Artist in Residence in the high school vocal music program. 

PROGRAM

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Christian Myrah and carried unanimously to approve the Cooperative Agreements with the Caledonia School District for the 2018-2019 school year.

BUILDING/GROUNDS/EQUIPMENT

Motion by Brad Hernandez, seconded by Stephanie Jaster and carried unanimously to approve the quote from SEMA/Deer and Company in the amount of $26,755.97 for a JD Utility Tractor with Accessories.

GENERAL

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Christian Myrah and carried unanimously to hold the January Organizational School Board Meeting on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. 

Superintendent Udstuen held the Annual Truth and Taxation hearing.
