Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Kelly Rohland and carried unanimously to approve the agenda as presented and revised.

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Christian Myrah and carried unanimously to approve the minutes of the Regular School Board Meeting held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center.

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Kelly Rohland and carried unanimously to hire Lori Stoen as Paraprofessional for the 2019-2020 school year.

Motion by Christian Myrah, seconded by Stephanie Jaster and carried unanimously to approve the contract for Blaine Storlie as Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2019-20 school year according to the provisions of the Master Agreement between the Spring Grove School District and the River Valley Education Association, Spring Grove Chapter MEA/NEA, Appendix B.

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Christian Myrah and carried unanimously to hire Taylor Elton as Paraprofessional for the 2019-2020 school year.

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Kelly Rohland and carried unanimously to approve the contract increase for Renee Eiken from .783 FTE to .92 FTE for the 2019-2020 school year, according to the provisions of the Master Agreement between the Spring Grove School District and the River Valley Education Association, Spring Grove Chapter MEA/NEA, Appendix B.

Superintendent Udstuen noted that the contract for Kody Moore has been adjusted to .562 PE/Health and .438 ALC (Sub-contract to HVED) and the contract for Adri Fisher was adjusted to .417 Social Studies and .583 Special Education for the 2018-2020 school year. Both teachers remain a 1.0 FTE teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Jennifer Stender and carried unanimously to approve the contract increase for Head Cook Janet Sand to $18.00/hour for the 2019-2020 school year.

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Christian Myrah and carried unanimously to approve the part-time (.167 FTE) contract for Rachel Udstuen as High School Language Arts Teacher for the 2019-20 school year.

PROGRAM

Motion by Stephanie Jaster, seconded by Kelly Rohland and carried unanimously to approve the 2019-2020 Student Handbook as presented by Principal Gulbranson.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Spring Grove Economic Development Authority (the “EDA”) will meet at Room 100 of Spring Grove Communications, 166 W Main St, Spring Grove, MN 55974 at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 to conduct a public hearing on the proposed sale of certain real property (“Property”) located in the City to Michael Connor for the purpose of constructing a warehouse facility for a family roofing business.

 

The Property is located at 649 Enterprise Drive in the City and is legally described as: Sect-12 Twp-101 Range-007 SPRING GROVE COMM PARK 1ST ADD Lot-005 Block-001 DOC #207187. The parcel number is 260659000.

 

The EDA will meet at the public hearing to determine if the sale is advisable. A copy of the terms and conditions of the proposed sale of the Property will be on file and available for inspection at City Hall during regular business hours. Any person wishing to express an opinion on the matters to be considered at the public hearing will be heard orally or in writing.
