Marilyn Davis, 82, formerly of Spring Valley

Marilyn J. (nee Sikkink) Davis, 82, died on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, in Greenfield, Wis.

She was born in Preston on Dec. 8, 1935, to Verl and Winnie (nee Jones) Sikkink.

She lived with her family in rural Fillmore County until they moved to Spring Valley when she was in third grade.

She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1953. Following graduation, she moved to Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis General Hospital School of X-ray Technology.

Later, she moved to Milwaukee, Wis., where she was employed for many years at St. Anthony and St. Luke’s Hospitals as an x-ray technician.

She was a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed reading, casinos, wintering in Arizona, chocolate and the color pink. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and especially loved the Green Bay Packers.

She is survived by her longtime best friend and companion, Robert E. Tatrow of Greenfield, Wis.; sisters, Muriel Ford of Port Washington, Wis., Helen (Butch) Grabau of Austin, Donna (Tom) Gauthier of Rochester and Linda (Jeff) Trende of Preston; six nieces and six nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Calvin.

A family service is to be held with interment in Union Cemetery in Port Washington, Wis.
