Ostrander gets water, sewer grants

The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (PFA) has awarded the city of Ostrander financing on a pair of projects, announced state Rep. Greg Davids, R-Preston, Monday.

“I commend the local and state officials who worked hard to secure this funding,” Davids said.  “These projects are necessary in order for the city to maintain sound wastewater and drinking water infrastructure.”

The first PFA project allocates $750,000 for drinking water improvements, including well work and water main replacement. The second allocates $284,000 for sewer improvements. Both match a USDA Rural Development financing package.
