The Lady Bulldogs had one win and four losses last week, bringing their overall record for the season to 2-6.  The gals are 2-5 in Three Rivers Conference play.

There are only two weeks left in the regular season.  This week the team traveled to Dover-Eyota (7-2, 7-3) on Tuesday for a doubleheader and Friday they will host Plainview-Elgin-Millville (4-4, 5-5) for another twin-bill.  In the final week of the regular season the gals will host Wabasha-Kellogg (5-2, 8-2) on Tuesday, May 15, travel to Southland (Adams, 1-6, 1-6) on Thursday, May 17, and finish the regular season at home against Cotter (7-1, 8-1), on Friday, May 18.  Of course all of those records will probably be different by the time the Lady Bulldogs take the field against their opponents.

Last Monday the team lost to Mabel-Canton, 7-3.  Coming up with hits for the gals were Jocelyn Voeltz, Allie Lubahn (two), Kori Kruegel (three) and Rylee Groom.  Scoring for GMLOK were Lubahn, Kruegel and Lindsey Welch.  Runs-batted-in were recorded for Lubahn and Kruegel.  Welch had one stolen base. According to the stats from head coach John Fenske, Lily Hughes pitched six innings, struck out 14 and allowed six hits.

Thursday the gals put the bats to work for 10 hits, but came up one run short against Lewiston-Altura, 12-11.  Sydney Eickhoff, Kruegel and Lubahn each had three hits for GMLOK.  Voeltz had the other hit for the gals.  Scoring the runs for the Lady Bulldogs were Voeltz, Liz Jacobsen, Lubahn (three), Masie Voigt, Kruegel, Eickhoff and Welch.  Voeltz had a three-run homer and Lubahn had a grand slam home run.  Also getting runs-batted-in were Kruegel (two) and Eickhoff.
