State Rep. Greg Davids endorsed for re-election

Republican Delegates from House District 28B met in Mabel recently and unanimously endorsed State Rep. Greg Davids for re-election to the Minnesota House of Representatives.

House District 28B includes all of Fillmore and Houston counties.

“I’d like to thank the delegates for their participation and am truly humbled by their support,” Davids said.

Davids is the chairman of the Minnesota House Taxes Committee, and also serves on the Veterans Affairs Division, Commerce and Regulatory Reform, and Ways and Means committees.

At the local convention, Davids said delegates urged him to continue his opposition to unnecessary tax increases, look for ways to keep health care more affordable, and to force government to live within its means.

Davids said he will also continue to prioritize rural schools, Greater Minnesota road and bridge funding, and rural economic opportunities for southeastern Minnesota .

“It is such a privilege to represent the wonderful people of House District 28B,” Davids said.  “I look forward to continuing to fight for their needs in St. Paul.”

Davids is a small business owner and farmer. He and his wife Bonnie live in Preston, and have three adult daughters.
