Sophomore Eliza Welscher won both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes as the Caledonia/Spring Grove track and field teams wrapped up the regular season with a May 16 meet at Dover-Eyota.  Despite some outstanding individual efforts, both Warrior teams finished in last (sixth) place in the team tabulations. Plainview-Elgin-Millville dominated the boys' competition while Lake City edged out P-E-M for the girls' title.

The top six places in each event earned team points.

The sub-section meet is this Thursday, May 23, at Chatfield. Qualifiers will advance to the Section 1A Championships on May 28 and 30 at Winona.
