R-P volleyball players Kjersta Hinz and Alyvia Eide were selected for the Three Rivers All-Conference volleyball team. Three other Lady Trojans received honorable mention for their contributions to the R-P squad during the 2018 season; Peyton Hoiness, Lauren Lawston, and Jaelyn Connaughty.

Hinz, the imposing senior middle hitter, amassed 112 kills for the season, averaging 1.5 per game. Also a defensive force, Hinz racked up a team-leading 52 ace blocks on the year.

Eide, only a sophomore, enjoyed a stellar year as R-P’s libero. Eide led the Lady Trojans in digs, racking up 368 (5.2 per game) for the year. Also among the team’s most efficient servers, Eide boasted a 90% serving percentage, with 28 ace serves on the season.

R-P’s honorable mention players were all seniors. Connaughty was an all-purpose player named by Coach Nikki Schultz as the team’s best server (94 percent serving percentage). Hoiness, who also shone in many categories, led the Lady Trojans in set assists with 291. Lawston was an offensive force for R-P, tallying a team-leading 183 kills for the year.

Three schools dominated the Three Rivers All-Conference team: Caledonia, Lewiston-Altura, and Wabasha-Kellogg, which all placed four players on the all-conference team. Cotter, Fillmore Central, and St. Charles had three all-conference players each.
